Makiminato Chuo Hospital began its first surgical operation in 1977 and since have performed operations for cardiac valvular diseases, ischemic heart diseases, congenital cardiac diseases, aortic aneurysms. etc. We now work with cardiovascular medicine department to perform CRT operation for patient with deteriorated cardiac function. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2012, we moved to a new hospital building equipped with hybrid operation rooms. With this first of its kind operation rooms in Okinawa, we began minimally invasive operations for aortic aneurysms. In 2015, we introduced MICS for valvular diseases. Also in 2012, we established the Vascular Access Center to begin AV fistula\/graft constructions, and in 2015 began radio-frequency ablation treatment for the increased cases of varicose veins. In 2020, low-pain endovenous injection treatment was introduced. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
